Patrachar Shiksha Parishad (PSP),Plot No. 31, Unit 4, Bhouma Nagar, BBSR, Odisha -751001 an organization specially registered to act as a bridge between the Government and the General Public to spread Education among the masses through correspondence, regular, private and distance learning mode. PSP is PAN INDIA PARTNER –SUBSIDIARY ORGANISATION of Odisha State Board of Madrasa Education OSBME for Distance Mode Education Programme of the Board. The Odisha State Board of Madrasa Education (OSBME) was formed by the Government of Odisha in the year 1971, before the formation, the Madrasa students' examination in the state was conducted by the Bihar Madrasa Board. The students had to face a lot of difficulties during their study due to the conduct of examination and award of certificates from other state.

In view of these problems, the Government of Odisha, taken a historic decision to make education accessible in the state and for the convenience of its students, established the Odisha State Board of Madrasa Education (OSBME) in the year 1971 by passing resolution under the State Government Education Rules, since then till now the Odisha State Board of Madrasa Education (OSBME) is continuously working for the promotion of education. Setting another milestone in this direction, OSBME has taken a step towards modern education system by starting distance mode education programme in the Board.

OSBME has started Distance Mode Education Programme for class Secondary and Senior Secondary from session 2024-2025 with its Pan India Partner Subsidiary Organization Patrachar Shiksha Parishad (PSP) with the approval of Government of Odisha to make education easy and accessible to the general public and to strengthen the Board by connecting it with modern education system and new education policy
